Who is Eligible for our programme?

Our programme is targeted towards people with an intellectual and/or psychiatric disability living in care, or who are living at home with parents or carers.  Participants need to be 18 years or over, mobile, capable of self care and able to communicate in a group setting.

Guidelines:

The My Life Programme runs for 16 weeks.  Participants can attend one day per week during Monday to Thursday.  The programme is delivered at our Acacia Ridge Offices (link to contacts page) and class times are 10am to 2pm.  Participants need to bring their own lunch, and there is a small canteen that sells snacks and cold drinks.

How do I get there?

We have a shuttle bus service that picks up and returns participants at the Bus Stop at Oxley Station, and the Mission Office at Stones Corner.

The Cost?

The programme is funded by the Queensland Department of Communities for participants who have a Registration of Need with the Department.
